A.2: Politics is not the art of compromise, it is the art of confrontation. What is often described as a "compromise" by anti-gunners is rarely ever a true compromise. Instead of both sides bringing something to the table to give up, anti-gunners demand less than they originally demanded of our liberties. Labeled a "compromise," this strategic back-step is gladly accepted by Republicans and the institutional gun lobbies. That's a fatal mistake — because anti-gunners gave up nothing in the equation, it was only a net loss for gun owners. The 'political reality' is that "compromising" is the worst possible strategy.
