WGO leads coalition to define gun rights agenda

Sen. Allen wants a promotion — but will he earn it?

April 19, 2006

George Allen is running for President. So it should be no surprise that gun owners in Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Iowa, Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Georgia, South Carolina and other states want to know just what kind of Senator he plans to be leading up to November 2008.

Unfortunately, Sen. Allen has often taken the wrong stand on gun control issues and legislation.

Second Amendment supporters are watching and waiting for Senator George Allen (R-VA) to deliver on a comprehensive pro-gun agenda.

In 2000, George Allen publicly proclaimed his intention to renew the Clinton-Feinstein Semi-Auto Gun Ban.Gun Owners in Virginia swung into action to make George Allen feel the heat so he'd see the light . . . and he did! George Allen took a second look and did the right think by voting against renewal of the Clinton-Feinstein Semi-Auto Ban.

Now Allen's going presidential — so now is the time for WGO members to pull their weight in Wisconsin to define the issues and make gun rights expectations clear for Republican presidential candidates. >>>next page
